Times of Youth: For those who don’t know about you, can you tell us a little about yourself?
Resham Singh Anmol: I am Resham Singh Anmol, a Punjabi folk & pop singer from Punjab, India known as ‘The King of Live Stage’.
Times of Youth: What made you take singing as a career path?
Resham Singh Anmol: My brothers Dr. Nirmal Singh & Advocate Sarvan Singh (UK) inspired me & supported me to go ahead in this field.
Times of Youth: Which classic evergreen singers have been your all time inspirations?
Resham Singh Anmol: Gurdas Mann & Shakira have been my inspirations.
Times of Youth: You became a finalist in ‘Aawaz Punjab Di’ (Voice Of Punjab). How was that experience for you?
Resham Singh Anmol: I was in top 10 finalists among 8 thousands participants for ‘Aawaz Punjab Di’ (Voice Of Punjab). It was a dream comes true for me. I learned the value of hard work during it.
Times of Youth: On winning Gold Medals thrice in Punjabi & Haryanavi folk from KUK, what effect/s did it have on your life?
Resham Singh Anmol: It was a great experience to be thrice a gold medalist in KUK University in Punjabi & Haryanvi folk. I got fee concession for my achievements and felt like a star during college times.
Times of Youth: As per your claim to be ‘The King Of Live Stage’, what do you believe are your key strengths as a live performer?
Resham Singh Anmol: It’s all God’s grace. My high pitched strong vocal tone & stamina, secondly my talented live band are the ones that makes me unique live performer. I worked and still work hard daily for that.
Times of Youth: From whom did you learn music? How many hours do you ‘Riyaz’ (practice)?
Resham Singh Anmol: I learned basics from Bheemsen Sehgal & Live concert art from legendary singer Kuldeep Manak. I practice daily for 2 hours for good vocal quality & 3 hours for building stamina.
Times of Youth: Being a singer of many popular Punjabi songs, which one is your own personal favorite?
Resham Singh Anmol: My debut track ‘Surma’ written by me, for which music was by Honey Singh, is very close to my heart.

Resham Singh Anmol: I have two singles coming up which are dance tracks, and then a full album will be releasing soon.
Times of Youth: Can you describe a time when your work was criticized? What was your first reaction and how did you cope?
Resham Singh Anmol: Some of my videos were criticized in the past. I accept it all positively.
Times of Youth: Tell us one incident that you experienced as an artist which changed your entire life/perspective.
Resham Singh Anmol: The superb reviews that I got for my performances in ‘Aawaz Punjab Di’ reality show changed my life.

Resham Singh Anmol: With my songs, I would like to give the message of humanity & peace. I want that there should be no religion in the world except Humanity.
