Sheharyar Fakeha, 22 years old, from Pakistan. I am a self taught artist I don’t have any formal training from any institute, so I have learned everything from trial and error process and some basic information that I gathered from the internet. By profession I am studying to be a doctor. My passion for arts is since childhood, to me art is one the essential things we do to be human. Art is life and doing art is a way to touch others, to reinforce bonds of community, perhaps to create beauty that gives a few people a rest from their problems, or the energy to keep working to improve own or other’s life. When we paint the picture, we are not painting just a landscape or portrait, we are putting the artist’s needs and emotions which are reflected by arts. In my opinion an artist’s job is to capture the moments, thats why God created artists. No matter if the artist is Leonardo Da Vinci, Mozart, DMX, Alla Pugachova or an old shaolin monk, art is art. Maybe not for me, but for the others. Maybe not for the others, but for me. Art is a way to live forever through your work and thoughts. Like Pabalo Picasso said, “Every child is an artist.
The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” I dont know about upcoming projects, surely lot more to come. and advice for youth out there is that the arts are an essential part of public education. From dance and music to theater and the arts, these programs give children a means of expression that helps capture their passion and emotions, allowing them to explore new ideas. The arts touch every aspect of our live.
